From Liquid Proust Teas

90s jincha stored in Taiwan.
You’d think this was Hong Kong storage, but I believe this is due to the way the material was processed all those years ago and being left to just do their thing; except they also had some friends come eat at them over the years too.

These were requested by people to be sold so I took my sweet time to bring them in :)

I’d describe it what you would imagine an incense branded by Teddy Grahms would taste like if you took the aromatics in the air and made it into a liquid.

Others have noted mushroom stewed with cinnamon that was served in a smoky wooden bowl.

You may find seed pods, old school woven plastic, bug droppings (which is mostly tea/bamboo), bamboo dust, and hair. Some of the leaf is also ‘white frost’ like.

Each jincha weights around 230g at this point. One of the 14 also looks like some junior high school student was allowed to learn how to make one or something because it’s stalk is like half an inch- whoever gets the chode jincha (don’t quote me on this) congrats!
