Sipdown (1409)!
Thank you VariaTEA for the share – I steeped this one up late in the evening earlier this week. It’s not a very exciting blend, but definitely conveys both the strawberry and lemonade. Sweeter with more of a “candy style” strawberry with a pop of acidity from the hibiscus, and a lighter note of lemon. A little generic/rough around the edges and I wish it was more lemon heavy in taste since it’s a “lemonade” blend – but still perfectly respectable.

I cold brewed this since it was a whole lot of fruit and that seemed like a good call. It’s got a lot note strawberry sweetness than I expected. It’s like those candies in strawberry wrappers grandparents always seem to have. With a touch of lemon. I sort of expected more apple flavour for some reason but I’m happy that’s not the case. I do wish it had more lemon though. Also, while this is good, it doesn’t stand out among the seas of strawberry lemonade offerings out there.
