From Kazi & Kazi Tea

The orthodox technique of preparing black tea is slow, and still lives strong within true tea connoisseurs who appreciate the flavor, reminiscent of a more classic era. The method entails rolling up whole leaves and buds which give the ultimate tea experience.

Broken leaves. Also have some twigs. Leaf aroma is like something burnt. Tastes the same. Like something was burnt while it was green. I get the smoky flavor of burning green leaves. Flavor is light, not intense. Light body. Some sourness note on side of tongue. Finish leaves your mouth sticky dry. Like when you eat a banana which is not ripe. Leaves the throat dry too.
