Unknown plantation. Darjeeling FTGFOP1, bought in a teastore in Norrköping, Sweden. The teastores here sell mostly flavored black teas that smell like flowers and perfume, but they often carry a few good pure teas, this store (Kahls, a chain of coffee and tea stores) which is located in the Linden mall in the very center of the city, had some Darjeeling FTGFOP1 that I thought I’d give a try. It’s the second best Darjeeling I’ve had. Very sweet honey like smell and flavor. Somewhat similar tones that can be found in the taiwanese oolong “Dongfang meiren” (“Oriental beauty”). I suppose this is what they call the muscatel flavor.
