Kenya is relatively a newcomer to tea production, having only started around the early 1900’s, but is now Africa’s most significant tea exporter. This Milima finest grade tea produces a strong and fruity cup matched in colour by its aroma. As like all Jenier Black teas, this tea is produced using the orthodox method. Milima is actually the trade mark for the Saosa Factory where the leaves from surrounding tea estates are selected. Growing around 6000ft above sea level, the leaves are treated with great care to ensure they retain their floral character. Rolled several times, the leaves are oxidised completely before the final drying and grading process.
