From International House of Tea

Create a beautiful spiced drink. This spice blend can be added to tea, milk or juice. Freshly ground cardamom, cloves, pepper, cinnamon, anise, ginger and vanilla. We use this spice combination to make our in house Hot Buttered Chai. Simply grind spices into a powder, mix in with sugar and softened butter. Store in the fridge and add a tablespoon to hot tea when desired. Great with a splash of dark rum.

One of the spice blends from the sampler pack. I steeped about 1.5-2.0 tsp in 10oz of 200F water for 5 min. Result is a mild taste of baking spices and vanilla/anise (not cloyingly sweet or anything though). I’m curious on how it would handle 10min- I don’t think it would be overbearing or anything though. Would consider blending this with early grey cream rooibos. Mmmm.
