This tea is my first pu-erh…can’t say this one is a favorite. Dry tea has slivers of coconut in the pu-ehr. Smells nutty when dry, but steeps to a rich buttery flavor. I am not picking up on any coconut or cocoa notes on this one. I am not sure if I am just not a pu-ehr fan or if it is this particular one. I believe I will have to share this one who is more into this type of flavor. :)

It has become a choice for several family members who discovered my stash, and are asking for more. Certain to be a good entry into the mysterious world of pu-ehr teas.
