From Hou De Asian Art & Fine Teas

Our first-time offering of Tie Guan Yin from the prestigious “Fu Shou Shan Farm” was more popular than expected! From the same farm and the same season, this is their Chin-Shin oolong. Again, our first-time offering of this cultivar from the Farm.

Located in elevation from 2100 to 2614meter, it is owned by Taiwan government’s Veterans Affairs Commission, not a private land. Three kinds of oolong cultivars are grown here: chin shin, tie guan yin and wu-yi. Not only the teas from here are limited quantity and precious, the fact is you have to have “connection” to be able to get it.

Bright and crystal clear liquor with a light golden hue. The liquor is superb silky, thick and smooth in texture. Plenty of veggie protein scent present in the floral aroma – an evidence of rich amino acids content, trademark of genuine high-elevation Li-Shan oolongs. Alos, in this tea’s presentation there is an abundance of Chin-Shin cultivar’s characters and unigue fragrance. Excellent silky and thick consistency. The texture of the aroma is so clean and dynamic, and it has a touch of cool breeze sensation that enhances the refreshing feeling. Extra lingering after-taste.
