Darjeeling Tea ShoppeStarted my morning with a cup of First Flush Darjeeling and a toasted PB&J bagel. Hill Town Tea Co. was kind enough to send me this tea sample to review, and honestly, I was really impressed with it. The liquor was a beautiful, warm golden hue with a medium body erring ever so slightly on the light bodied side. Very delicate and aromatic, with crisp notes of different florals like sweet pea and gardenia and a cooling, vegetal undertone of snow peas and bamboo shoots supported by gentle notes of malt and honey. Basically, everything I want out of a First Flush Darjeeling with an overall serene and grounding kind of vibe. Honestly, not too shabby at all for an early morning breakfast crammed in before having to rush off to work for the day!!
