Bonfire is a charcoal roasted Oolong tea from Fujian province.
This type of Oolong tea is processed like a tieguanyin, and then charcoal roasted to give it a smoother, smoky flavour and texture. This particular tea has some age to it which makes the smoky notes mellow and well balanced – this is a must for anyone who enjoy Oolong tea’s.

The leaves are quite dark, but it brews a light yellow-orange. Fruity notes of citrus and banana, roasty notes of toasted barley and almonds. Lesser medicinal notes of ginseng, cannabis, and mineral. Just a hint of smoke, more like a burning match than a bonfire.
