  • “Today is a wonderful, wonderful day! I have a green tea that I not only find palatable, but actually love! I threw in the selection of Historic Royal Palaces tagalong tins into my latest Harney...” Read full tasting note

  • “This is a nice mild green tea. I get more of a sweet orange or tangerine, than normal orange, which is quite nice. The tea itself is more of a light-medium green base. Nothing is overpowering....” Read full tasting note

From Harney & Sons

In the spirit of Britain’s historic trade with China, our master blender designed Canton Green. Late harvested Chinese green teas are infused with orange oil and sprinkled with marigold petals, a pleasant introduction to green tea.

FYI if this is your kind of tea, Harney’s has it for appx. half price right now. I am learning that I am a black tea lover at heart. That being said, this is a nice tea for when you have had your quota of back tea but still want a tea drink. I can taste the orange but it is not the main note. The green tea/marigold seems to dominate. For me, a touch of sweetener brought out the orange. It was pleasant but not the show stoppers goji and black currant were for me. Not something I wold normally buy in large quantities for me (a sample or tag-along 5 pack would be enough for me) but getting the canister on sale enables me to share with my green tea loving friends and add another pretty tin to the Harney collection.
They always get me with the pretty tins :)

This is the best tea ever.
I found this site whist looking for a place to purchase more of this tea as a gift for friends. 6 minutes steeping and a squeeze of lemon make this better than any other tea I’ve had.

I sip this in the mornings at work with a bit of honey in it. Give me something warm to chase away the viruses without to much caffeine to make me jittery. I use the hot water spout on our coffee maker at work, I don’t boil. I didn’t experience the “overpowering” orange scent mentioned in one of the comments. I also don’t reuse the tea bags as mentioned in another comment. I don’t think it’s too bitter—am not a fan of bitter drinks and I like this tea.

Has an interesting taste that I like. Green tea and orange flavors. Need to be careful not to over steep or it can go bitter.

I’m in Barnes and Noble sipping this tea right now. I really shouldn’t request green or white teas at these types of establishments. The employees almost always give you scalding hot water. I let it steep for about 3 minutes before fishing the tea bag out. I can taste the orange but no tea, and there is barely any fragrance to the tea itself. Disappointed!
