Fairly simple but nice, smooth flavor. I appreciate that it’s quasi-organic, but for the money, I’ll take Golden Monkey any day.
We found this tea on our last day in China. It was about 90 minutes outside of Changsha. When we arrived there, we saw little yellow flags all over. That is a sign of an organic garden (the flags are insect traps). This garden is still in transition, so it cannot be sold as Certified Organic. The garden is owned by 2 brothers and their sister.
When we tasted this black tea, we knew we had to share it with you. Aroma and flavor of cane sugar.
