From Good Tea Good Day

About this tea
Stuffed again after a big meal? Help your digestion with a sweet-sour aromatic herbal tea! Combining the powers of hawthorn and apple, Digest & Slim regulates the spleen which assists with digestion and fluid metabolism.

According to traditional chinese health concepts, hawthorn and apple both regulate the stomach which receives and ripens ingested food, as well as descending the digested impure downwards to the small intestine.

Moreover, the two herbs regulate the lung to promote body fluid secretion and nourish the intestine, thus supporting a healthy digestion and a smooth transportation of digested impure downwards for excretion.

Brew yourself a cup of Digest & Slim to get your body back on track after a tasty indulgence. It helps promote digestion to relieve food retention. What’s more, the rosebuds deliver you a romantic scent while nourishing and brightening your skin! That’ll be a good relief of stress after a heavy meal.

Ingredients
Apple, Rock sugar, Rosebud, Hawthorn

Sipdown! (42 | 451)

Another tisane with a lot of rose, but I like it anyway! I guess real rose is different from flavoring.

I would say the rose and apple are both here in equal measure. The rose is lush and sweet, and the apple adds a nice contrasting fruity tartness that keeps it from being cloying. I’m not sure if the hawthorn is contributing to the overall sweetness or tartness of the blend, not knowing at all what they taste like.

Digging it!
