About this tea
A quality sleep gives you beauty and health. Pamper your liver for a sweet dream!

Liver qi (energy) can be blocked due to stress and thus slows down the flow of qi throughout the body. This disrupts blood flow and nutrients transportation, leading to disharmony of organs.

Step back from hustle and bustle. Get rid of moodiness, anger and insomnia by sparing yourself a relaxing moment to soothe you off to a good sleep.

Camomile regulates liver qi, releases liver fire and calms the spirit.

Lavender releases heart fire, calms the spirit as well as soothing tautness of muscle.

In Hong Kong, jasmine and osmanthus are also commonly used for soothing sleeping problems. They both regulate qi movement and relieve emotions to improve sleep quality. Besides, jasmine help alleviate fullness and pain in the upper abdomen to soothe for a better sleep.

This popular Hong Kong blend formula combining lavender, camomile, jasmine and osmanthus, delivers you tranquility with an elegant, calming aroma in every single sip. Not only calms your nerves with a lovely scent, but also soothe your stress with beautiful yellow, purple and white petals.

Sipdown! (36 | 445)

Getting back to these single-serve traditional Hong Kong herbal medicine tisanes, because yay easy sipdowns!

This one is a mix of osmanthus, chamomile, jasmine, and lavender flowers. I’m not always a big fan of lavender, but I do enjoy the other three ingredients so I was excited to steep this up as my bedtime brew this evening.

The front of the sip is mostly lavender and chamomile, and has a more savory feel. But the osmanthus starts to appear midway through, and by the end my mouth is coated by its nectarous, honey-sweet flavor. I’m not sure I can pick out jasmine specifically, perhaps it’s melding into the osmanthus a bit.

For me, there’s a touch too much lavender, and it doesn’t really fit in with the other soft and sweet floral notes here. It comes off a bit soapy. But I do really love the osmanthus, it’s almost juicy in flavor. I know I have another blend from this company that’s pear and osmanthus, so now I’m excited to try that one!

(Please note that my rating is only in regard to the taste of this tisane, I can’t comment on any potential health benefits.)
