This is a bagged Grey that definitely packs a punch. I hate earl greys that taste mostly like black tea, with only the slight promise of bergamot at the back of the mouth. This one hits you with the lavender and orange right up front – excellent for waking up a sleepy brain on a dreary, windy day.

This is my absolute favorite tea. I had it at Calico Cupboard in Anacortes, WA and haven’t been able to find it since. It is delicious. Warm citrusy orange with creamy vanilla and perfumy lavender and Bergamot. I couldn’t get enough. I want to order some through the mail but can’t find it available so far. I will keep looking.

Hmm, I’ve never had a lavender earl grey before and I’m not sure I really like it. The taste and smell of the lavender is super strong when I brewed it. I’m going to try it as an iced tea next. In it’s little sachet it seems like it’d be nice to keep a bag around to scent my room… :)

If you’re curious about lavender earl grey’s you should try the one that Alice’s Teacup sells! It’s well balanced and uses a good grade of black tea.Though I’m not sure if they sell online; they’re a tea shop in NYC. Alternatively, Guurl Grey from T-We is a good floral/burgamont blend.
