The kumquat(or cumquats) is a fruit of evergreen tree which were cultivated in Southern area of China that is most suitable for the kumquat. Kumquats have been called “the little gems of the citrus family”. In this regard, orange kumquats are the jewels of the citrus family.
It contains plenty of vitamin A, vitamin C and calcium’s.
The flavour of these small oval fruits is that of a unique sweet-tart.
Dried kumquat are ideal for fruit tea infusion.
The taste of the tea is a little sour and sweet. Could be mix with honey to adjust the taste.
