Çay (pronounced as chai)
Is black (non-spiced tea) grown in the historic hills of Turkey next to the eastern black sea. You can taste the essence of the sea breeze and fertile hills in the tea leaves.
This tea is traditionally brewed in a double kettle and then served in small tulip shaped glassed where drinkers hold the glass at the brim to avoid burning their fingers. When brewed the tea produces a dark liquor color and is temperate to over brewing. Milk brews produces a unique malty flavor reminiscent of a latte.
