This is an inexpensive and tasty tea from Streetshop88. On or about the fifth steep I noticed the fact that I had not tasted any fermentation flavor at all. This tea has completely cleared. Judging by the strength of the tea I believe the claim of ancient tree to be possible. It started out quite strong in the early steeps and slightly bitter as well as sweet. There is often an unpleasant taste associated with older ripe teas, this had none of that. This was very good tea overall. Another winner from Streetshop88.

I brewed this ten times in a 170ml teapot with 10.4g leaf and boiling water. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec, and 1 min. It was still fairly strong in the tenth infusion and I think it would have gone 15 steeps at least.

The first time I read this I thought it said expensive, so I went to the website, and having found it was cheap, came back and realised my mistake. Anyway, good review and I’m pleased you can verify it is from ancient trees :)

I can’t truly verify it but I think I believe it in this case. It was strong tea.
