It should be noted that I didn’t gongfu this, just brewed it western style before work. It is a fairly tasty puerh with very little fermentation flavor, although it has some. It has a nice sweetness to it. I’m not really picking up on the complex notes this morning although it also has some. I have no way to know that this is actually from the 1990s as claimed by Dragon Tea House. My assumption is it’s more recent. I can’t even be sure it’s royal grade. It’s not bad tea and it wasn’t expensive.

Steeped this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and boiling water for 30 seconds after giving it a 10 second rinse.
