You know…I thought this was gonna be so much better than it actually was. Thought it was gonna be wayyy sweeter, like their Red Velvet Delight blend. But it doesn’t have tons of flavor. Weird.
The same with the smell. It wasn’t strong enough for me. Definitely not gonna buy more, but I’m glad I tried it!
Maybe one day They’ll make a sweeter batch of this…that would be awesome!
But I’m not one to add sweetener to my tea, so perhaps if I did that it would be better.
Wasn’t a terrible tea, but nothing to really write home about. xD

A tea from Della Terra I haven’t tried yet? Preposterous! It’s a cute blend – sprinkles! This isn’t just rooibos flavor, there is something else there but it isn’t exactly cotton candy either (52Teas Cotton candy has this one beat – that one is very accurate). To be fair, I steeped this one for a while, so maybe a shorter steep time wouldn’t have had the rooibos drown out the flavor as much. Maybe the sweetness came from the sprinkles? Not the best from DT, but I like it. Della Terra’s rooibos is one of the better rooibos bases anyway.
Seriously, guys, you are all just a bunch of enablers. OMGsrsly peer pressured me into having a small evening foods, I made a pitcher of Jardin Sauvage because of TheTeaFairy, and then DTT posted about bringing old blends back into stock and I remembered this and absolutely had to have it.
And yes, this sample is still alive and there is enough left for one more cup. I was going to have some on my birthday, but I ended up having so much other good stuff there was no room for more tea.
This is still so tasty.
And I still feel dirty for liking it so much.
Considering possibly nudging it up five points. Shhh. Tell no one.

I’m terrible at trying to figure how much sugar to put in…how much did you use?
Start with 1 tsp., then add a little more as needed.
I did a teaspoon for 8 ounces and it was good. It definitely brought out a lot of sweetness in the tea.
