Wooohooooo!!!!! This sample was a huge surprise from tea-sipper!! Thank you!! I’ve had this on my wishlist for a while & I can’t wait to try it! Peanut butter in a tea? Yes, please! The flavor is whoa…unexpected. It’s not like any other flavor I’ve tasted in a tea, and that’s saying something because I have tried A LOT of teas!

This really does have a peanut flavor. It reminds me of peanut soup from King’s Arms Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. If you’re ever in the area, you have to go there and try it! It sounds weird but it is soooooo good! Like liquid peanut butter. Mmmm!

I tried this tea sans additions first and then added Truvia and a tiny splash of milk. It’s definitely better this way. I don’t know how much chocolate is in this. I’m trying to figure out if I’m really tasting fudge or if I’m imagining it because it’s in the name. The peanut butter is definitely stronger than the chocolate. Yum! This tea is unique and delicious. If you’re looking for something different, I definitely suggest you try this out. Thanks again, tea-sipper!

Hubby liked that peanut butter soup, and I have the recipe but I have never made it. I did try the peanut butter flavor matcha from Red Leaf and it was good!

I am just seeing your note now, as I came over to this page to de-cupboard this one. Just finished it. Glad you liked it. :D

Thanks to the cookielady for sending me a sample of this tea! As others have said it def has a chocolate and peanut butter smell to it, but personally I could only really taste the chocolate as opposed to just smelling. I also noticed on the top of the cup oil dropplets that I think are responsible for alot of the peanut aroma? Overall I enjoyed this tea, but only recommend it to people if they are looking for chocolate with a hint of peanut butter and not the other way around.

This might sound strange but….while this is a tea I would definitely consider reordering if it ever shows up on their site again, this didn’t pack the peanut butter punch I had hoped for. This is my first Della Terra Tea. I purchased it from somebody’s sale here on Steepster…but I must confess that I went kind of nuts buying from a bunch of people’s stash sales all at once and now can’t exactly remember who I got what from. Sorry, friends :(

Don’t judge Della Terra only on this tea! I think it’s the biggest let down from what is promised by the name, and I have tried MANY DT teas.

The Cookie Lady

Good to know! I definitely intend to try other teas from them. Do you have a favorite from them that you think most closely lived up to your expectations based on the name?

it’s a very good tea. I have had it alone and mixed with the white chocolate, dubbele chocolate and smore’s . and got some very good flavors. would to see this tea in the future mixed with what I have mixed with and maybe something I have not
