Everyone has their own special bedtime ritual. For some it’s curling up in bed with a good book. Others prefer a nice long soak in the tub. We think there’s nothing better than a warming cup of tea. And this sweet and delicately floral tisane is all you need to drift off to dreamland. It’s got a calming base of chamomile – a flower renowned for its relaxing properties. Plus a deliciously smooth touch of honey and a lulling dash of rose petals. Calorie-free and dreamy as can be, this is one bedtime sip that’ll definitely have you seeing stars.

Ingredients: Chamomile, rose petals, cornflower petals, stevia extract, natural and artificial honey flavouring.

Price: $9.98 per 50g

What an interesting day. I interviewed earlier today for a potential promotion, and I think it went well, plus they seemed to really like me, but who knows what’ll happen. I also just bought concert tickets. My favourite band, Katatonia, is coming to town! Plus my Amoda order arrived today but I still need to add everything to my cupboard.

Now I’m dead tired and still trying to fight off this sickness. I have a headache and mild fever, still, after over a week, plus my neck still hurts from when I fainted and fell last month. So I’m being ultra lazy and useless just bumming around.

But tea! This smells like bee pollen at the farmer’s market, 100%. I was anticipating being smacked in the face with chamomile, but surprises are surprising. The honey really comes through in the flavour and complaints the chamomile wonderfully. You know what? I like this more today than when I had it for the first time the other week. It’s soothing and so smooth for chamomile, which can sometimes be a bit much, especially on its own. I’m not quite sure if I would buy more, but it’s a dope sidekick, at least when you’re sick.

sounds like a good day overall even with the sick factor :)

I haven’t rated a tea in a while, but this one is worth the effort. I wasn’t so sure about the smell, but I really enjoy the taste. I always drink a soothing tea before I go to bed and I was becoming a bit bored of drinking the same teas. This one is a very interesting addition to my collection and I REALLY hope the company will keep this tea in the permanent collection.

As I may have mentioned before, I’m not a big fan of chamomile on its own, but this is really lovely tasting with the rose petals added. Its a nice bed time tea, and has a nice light honey flavour. I actually added a honey stick to my second cup of this. Its really enjoyable.
Also, the dry leaf is so pretty! I really like this tea.

I feel bad for not enjoying this :( I got it for my friend and I and I regret it. It tastes like an elderly ladies perfume to me personally, although that may be because I’m not a huge fan of honey? I’m not too sure. Seeing the other peoples reviews, this may be right for some, but others, smell it first and if you like the scent then you’d love to drink it. Was only able to drink two tablespoons before tossing it in the sink.

Interestingly, there seems to be a trend so far of people who don’t traditionally like chamomile (myself included) liking this blend, so that’s kind of neat. I honestly wasn’t excited for this one at all once I realized it was a chamomile based blend but I ended up greedily drinking a whole pot to myself, so take that as you will.

- Shared w. roommate and he liked it quite a lot
- Though I ended up drinking all the pot except the one shared cup because I am greedy
- Mostly just sweet
- Though I actually didn’t really taste the stevia at all and I was definitely looking for it
- The honey is REALLY well defined/strong
- It definitely soften the chamomile a bit and makes this more smooth and bearable
- I say bearable because the taste of chamomile on its own is… bleck
- Soft floral rose undertones, but not all that strong overall
- Pleasant on the whole
- Not a repurchase tea, personally, but given the level I was dreading it it’s a HUGE win

I liked this one better than Mocha Orange Biscotti, as well.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

The dry leaf of this tea is soooo beautiful! like legit its the prettiest tea ever. And it smells like honey candy or maybe honey cookies. The smell is to die for, I wish they would make it into a candle! However, I was really scared to try this tea because I HATE stevia. Like despise it. I wish they didnt add stevia into some of their teas its sooo gross. So I was hoping that I wouldn’t taste it. The smell of the steeped tea is still really yummy. Like honey candy but not in a sickeningly honey-sweet way. In a good way haha. I can smell the chamomile now, too. I can’t taste the stevia! YAY!!! omg I’m the happiest girl ever. I even added agave to it to sweeten it up. Its really good! It has a faint hint of honey its not sickeningly sweet or anything. The chamomile and rose petals are super light too. Its very “tasteful” when it comes to flavor in this tea. Its soothing. But the best part is that there isn’t a nasty aftertaste from the stevia. I can’t even taste it, like I said I added agave to it because I wanted it a tad but sweeter. YUM! I love this tea :)

I am not usually a fan of chamomile. I told the Tea Guide at Davidstea this after she mentioned the new tea launch for this one. She mentioned to me that she usually isn’t a fan of chamomile either, but didn’t mind it in this tea. Intrigued, I decided to try a little bit. Man, was that Tea Guide ever right. This is a fantastic cup of tea! Very soothing and flavorful. A great comfort after a long day. This might be my new bedtime ritual tea.
