Gimme some mo’

Fresh mint, tangy lime and a splash of rum. Is there any way to improve on a classic mojito? Sure…Just add raspberry! A touch of fruity sweetness makes this classic cocktail sing. And best of all, it colours it a beautiful, smile-inducing bright pink. So of course our mojito tea needed to include everyone’s favourite berry. The result? A rose-tinted tisane that’s fruity, minty and utterly refreshing. Served over ice with a splash of rum, it tastes like a summer afternoon on a sunny Havana patio. In short, pure heaven.

This one is strange. I cold steeped it over night. I think I might need to water it down. It sort of bothers me that it’s “Mojito” and yet contains no mint. Hmph. When I sip it the initial taste in my mouth is good. It’s sweet and refreshing but then there’s this terrible after taste. It took me a few sips to identify it. It reminded me of when you drink juice after brushing your teeth.

Made this the other day hot, it was reasonably good. Cold brewed it for iced tea last night. It is amazing iced. The raspberry really pops out at you. And another flavor which I think is lime is really strong and flavorful too. This is a definite winner iced. Going to change my rating on this one. I know that will also change my rating for this hot. I wish there was a way around that.

Cold brewed 8 tsp leaf overnight in a 68oz Iced Tea Jug.

Flavors: Lime, Raspberry

Other people must have tasted the lime too.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I thought I was in a different tea.

There was an awful lot of hype about this tea, and I finally managed to get some! However, it was actually my least favourite of the four I just tried. Accurate, certainly – the raspberry aroma and flavour are unmistakeable, and especially on a second infusion, the presence of mint is obvious. However – it was almost TOO much for me, with too much tartness from the hibiscus. That said, again it was hot and not iced, where I feel it would shine.

Withholding rating until I try this iced. Whoever heard of a hot mojito…

Hmm, I didn’t see this one at the store. Is the raspberry realistic or artificial?

Kittenna

They may be sold out of it again, it’s apparently fairly popular. I felt it was fairly realistic, but I don’t usually find raspberry to be overly artificial (unless it tastes/smells like lip gloss).

Sipdown!

My kindergarten classroom had scented magic markers. They were a lot of fun to draw with, mostly because of the scents. Who doesn’t like a raspberry scented marker?

Me. When my tea both tastes and smells like said marker.

Granted, subsequent cups were more fruit than writing implement, but it was too little too late. Happy to be finished with this one.

I drank this tea hot just now, but I’ve primarily used it for iced tea in the past. The mint comes in that cool mouth feel and aftertaste, while the fruity raspberry is what hits you up front. There’s something about these flavors that just screams summer to me, and it makes a great iced tea. While it’s decent hot, I think as an iced tea is where is really shines.

This tea lives up to its name. I can taste the fruity raspberry flavour and at the end there’s the nice touch of mint. Very refreshing after a hard day’s work in the heat.

I was not a huge fan of this tea in 2018. Either my taste buds have changed or DT changed the recipe.

This is much better cold brewed though still not my favorite. The raspberry is much juicier with mint hiding in the end of the sip adding coolness. It’s not my favorite but its okay.

wonderfully perfect herbal tea, i’m SO sad it ran out before i could stock up. fingers crossed DAVIDs brings it back sometime soon!

gorgeous ripe red fruit aroma with a hint of tanginess – tastes just like sun-warmed fresh-picked raspberries in the summer. glorious. the mint isn’t present in the cup, but as a refreshing aftertaste that lingers on the tongue.

Yay! This tea is great. It has a strong raspberry candy-like flavour. This is one of my favourites for sure! But then it hits you with a nice dash of mint. They nailed this tea for sure!
