Do you like piña coladas?

This sweet and fruity mix of strawberries, pineapple and coconut is straight out of the retro cocktail menu. Try it over crushed ice with a splash of rum.

I’m trying this hot tonight, although it is better iced. At first I didn’t like this tea when it came out last summer. Because it has coconut in it, I was hesitant at the taste. But the more I had it, I began to like it. Provided I added some sugar. It’s a bit tart, but sweet as well. I like the strawberry taste, and the coconut is staying on the down low, which is good. This would probably make a good tea pop, but I’ve never had a successful one.

Sample from Tea Sipper. Thank You!

This definitely lives up to the name! I’m tasting strawberry, pineapple, buttery coconut, and hibiscus. The fruit flavors are candy sweet, which is a nice contrast with the hibiscus, and the coconut is a tiny bit artificial, but overall it’s very good. It’s unusual to find a tea that manages to balance such a large number of flavors while keeping them distinct and complementary. Now that I’ve tasted more of DavidsTea’s selection I may decide to put in an order at some point.

This was the other tea of the day today and it was okay. Tasty, but too hibby for me. Coldbrewed kept the hibiscus at bay the other day, though!

This is a relatively nice herbal that I actually bought to make iced. Brewed it hot today though. It is relatively tasty. There is the flavor of the strawberry and what I believe to be coconut. It also comes off as a little artificial. I will have to cold brew it overnight and see how it is iced.

I brewed 4 tsp leaf in a 24oz cast iron teapot with 200 degree water for 5 minutes.

Sipdown!

This was honestly very good. Super thick and rich, a lot like drinking fruit juice but without all the sugar and heaviness I normally get from juice. The strawberry was a good mix of tart and sweet. The only thing I didn’t love was the fact that it smelled a bit like suntan lotion from the coconut.

LPT: Brew this really strong and then add sweetener. Put into popsicle molds and make fabulous tea popsicles.

Got this tea last summer, I really like fruity teas and this was a delicious addition to my collection! The tea tastes very strongly of both strawberry and pineapple, but I didn’t taste much of the coconut. A lot of the teas I get from Davids that have a coconut component to it don’t taste like there is any in them, the coconut to me always feels overshadowed by the other ingredients. With that being said, I would have liked a little more coconut in this tea. Although I still really enjoyed it, especially iced, I even tried it hot and it was really nice. Definitely one to try, especially if you like fruity teas.

I was so excited to try this tea and was slightly disappointed. It wasn’t as great as I expected but was still drinkable.

A sweet taste in your mouth brings back the taste of summer, with it’s almost overloaded sensations of strawberry and pineapple, the fruity drink lives up to it’s name, both alcoholic and non.
Because of the saturation of flavors, the books recommended for this tea are:

Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Cohn, Rachel, and The Nanny Diaries
Novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus.

True to its name, this tastes just like a piña colada with strawberries. The pineapple and coconut take main stage, with strawberry mellowing out the tropical notes. Very fruity and exotic flavour that doesn’t require much added sugar. If you’re not feeling the tropical flavours, stay away from this one.
