This is a nice berry tea. Refreshing too – it lives up to its name. It’s one of the first teas I tried from DT and ever since, I was hooked. It obviously tastes like berries, and I like the lemongrass in it. For specific berry tastes, I think I’m tasting blackberry and could be the elderberry – though I’ve never tried elderberry. Overall, I really enjoy this tea. I’m having it hot, because when I tried having it iced it didn’t taste the greatest. Hot is it lovely. I am getting a bit of a hibiscus aftertaste but that’s fine.
I’m just sad they discontinued this one.

The taste is very good and sweet, but the addition of hibiscus is a mistake! The tangy side of it is not agreeable.

This too was tolerable hot so I decided to see if I would like it better iced and I did.

I went to the David’s Tea location on Queen St. West the other day and requested Berry Poppins. Sadly, it was a seasonal tea that they no longer had. Instead, this tea was recommended to me.

I requested it iced with a few pumps of agave. I’m not sure if this last request was denied, but there definitely was no sweetness in it. Instead, I felt a strong tone of lemongrass with mild undertones of wild berries. Although I did finish it, I don’t think I’d go back to buy some loose tea.

This tea was one of the first teas that I tried from David’s Tea. It had a very nice fruity smell but when I actually tasted it, there was an overpowering taste of lemongrass. Yet it was very refreshing and the lemongrass eventually grew on me. Overall very good tea.

It looks like Blue lagoon but when steeped, not the same color! It’s berry and …very refreshing, you guessed it! iced of course, not sure I am inclined to have it hot.

I tried this tea twice and I don’t know what it is exactly in it that puts me off but I did not enjoy it! I think it might be the lemongrass that really over powers the berries for me. On the bright side, my sister liked it so she finished it off for me and it didn’t go to waste!

Before I say anything else, I saw some reviews (don’t remember where) saying that this tea was similar to Blue Lagoon. I had a lot of hope that it would be because I LOVED Blue Lagoon. I didn’t even have the time to order some when it came back for a limited time. :/ Anyway.

Berry Refreshing does NOT taste like Blue Lagoon. If you are looking to buy it because you think it will, you will be disappointed.

Otherwise, without comparing it, it’s a good tea. It tastes like tart berries with a sweet side. I think you get what the ingredients announce. It’s no big surprise. But I like it and I may buy it again.

I made this iced (brewed hot, cooled with ice) with a little honey

Dry – Lots of berry chunks, lots of lemon grass leaves. Sweet berry scent.

Steeped – Lovely shade of purple.

Taste – It reminds me of those sugar free berry sports drinks. I couldn’t detect any lemongrass flavor. Not really enjoying the hibiscus tart.

I wasn’t impressed with this. I will try it straight hot and cold steeped soon!

I have been really surprised by this one. It’s so good and I absolutely love it. I didn’t think I would with it being a hibiscus tea, but for some reason it doesn’t bother me here at all. Found the berry flavour to be quite good and the hibiscus doesn’t overpower like it tends to do. Such a great tea. I’m very impressed by this one. A great blend of flavours with nothing outshining the rest. All the flavours work in harmony. I also love that it turns a lovely shade of purple. SO pretty!!
Can’t decide if I want to stock up or not.
