From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes
Fresh, cool minty flavour and aroma

It’s love at first sip with this organic peppermint tea. Said to stimulate passion and creativity, our peppermint is also fair trade, for great taste and good karma. It’s a naturally fresh, cool and comforting herbal tisane. And though it may be totally caffeine-free, that doesn’t mean it won’t awaken your senses.

What makes it great
• Peppermint tea is a classic remedy for an upset tummy.
• The active ingredient in peppermint is menthol – said to be great for soothing the throat.

Ingredients
Organic peppermint leaves from Oregon and Washington State.

It’s all but impossible to find a tea more cooling and cleansing than these pure peppermint leaves. Perfect hot or iced.

This was probably one of the best peppermint teas I have ever had. Very smooth and relaxing.

How can something comprised of one simple ingredient be so incredibly, amazingly, wonderfully good? Strong. Ready in 2 minutes. It’s simple, but sometimes you need simple. I’m into it.

What can I say? It has a strong, sharp peppermint taste. I happen to really like peppermint tea, so that’s ok by me. I’ve steeped this one at all different times (anywhere between 30 sec and 10 min), and it’s tasted fine to me. It’s even ok cold.

This is a great herb to use to mask the taste of bitter herbs that you may want to make into a tea. I’ve made a lot of herbal teas taste better by adding a touch of peppermint.

A staple in my cupboard.

OH MY MY MY!! if you want to try a little kick to your Hot Chocolate, get some of this tea and along with their Pumpkin chai , put them both in the same infuser and let it sit for the amount alloted. add a dab of milk if you perfer…and VOILA! you have an infamous aromatic blend of what i call “CPC” – Hot Chocolate. Peppermint. Chai. If you cannot grace yourself the moment to purchase these amazing teas, and would like to try, i suggest going to your local Tim Hortons [sorry americans, i’m sure you have a coffee shop that sells these teas as well, i can only speak for my own experience!] and Order A hot Chocolate [in the winter order the “supreme” hot chocolate for a REAL treat!] with a Peppermint AND Chai Tea Bags. It only costs extra for the tea bags [you are not being charged for Three DRINKS!] and let it sit while you drive on ….the smell will be irresistable…and your taste buds….delightful ! :)
