I don’t even remember where this tea came from, but I appear to have about 40g of this that I don’t remember every acquiring; and considering how fluffy a tea it is 40g is actually a lot of it to go through…

I’m not really a fan of this one, aside from the straight chamomile I personally think it’s DT’s least pleasant “sleepy tea” we carry, however I also really dislike the taste of chamomile so I suppose that probably plays a big factor. I made a cup of it the night I realized I owned it though, and while I didn’t love it (peppermint, chamomile, and hibiscus is such an intense trio of flavours that really fit together weirdly) it was at least drinkable. Maybe I’ll give away the rest, because it will take me AGES to drink it – but maybe I’ll keep it around because (if nothing else) I do find it makes me drowsy despite my strong dislike of the taste…

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Kittenna

I located a tin of this in my stash while I was going through my DT stuff. It was part of a trio of DT favourites or somesuch, I believe. Now is probably the ideal time for me to be drinking it, but it just doesn’t appeal…

Afternoon/evening pot of tea while I read my library book. This one tastes pretty generic to me. The mint is present and the predominant flavor, but it’s more a mouthfeel than anything else? Not bad, and I think I would like this a lot if I were sick and needing something warm and comforting.

I really enjoyed this one before bed. The light peppermint is really nice. I love chamomile so that’s just a bonus. Other than Valerian Nights by David’s, this will be my go to before bed.

The taste of peppermint is rather strong in this tea, but I actually like it! I steeped it at 4.5 minutes and felt it was perfect for me, the mint taste wasn’t overwhelming and was rather refreshing to drink before bed (or early in the morning). Would only recommend to people who like the taste of mint, or peppermint though since the taste is very forward.

This tea is not my favourite but it does the trick to relax. I find it too minty but if you like mint I’d suggest it to you. I bought this tea about a year ago and I’d say I’ve had about 5 cups of it. I usually leave it out if company is coming.

Not my favorite bedtime tea. I generally prefer a simple chamomile and peppermint blend. But at the same time, it’s not bad either. It works for stress in general as well, not just night time!

So I just used up the last little bit of this tea and my last cup was when I finally realized I might actually have found a way to like this tea. It was a bit acidic for me before, but for some reason I didn’t think to add honey because of the lemony/lemongrass flavour. I thought it would taste weird with sugar, however as it turns out, half a teaspoon of honey is exactly what it needed.

It steeps pale yellow with a touch or pink, however it is actually very flavourful. The mint tastes very medicinal paired with the lemongrass. The chamomile is slightly lemony and floral, and gives it that dried grass sweetness. My main issue with this tea is that the hibiscus is very tart and the other herbs don’t add enough sweetness to balance it.

This tea is so good before sleep! It kinda knocks me out ( because of the valerian in it I think). Plus, it actually tastes good! It is minty and a bit tart, a perfect relaxing combination. It tastes better than The Big Chill.
