Cocktail time
Summer isn’t summer without a banana daiquiri or two. So ice this tea and get drinking. Our thirst-quenching blend of banana, pineapple, coconut and apple is deliciously fruity and tropical. As an extra perk, it has green rooibos, a super source of antioxidants and trace minerals. Sound too good to be true? Try it with a little splash of rum. It’s a tad less healthy that way. Caffeine-free.

Price: $8.00 per 50g

I am trying to go through the remainder of my summers teas before the fall ones come out from Davids Tea :) I had a jug of this iced yesterday and it was alright, I keep expecting it to have more of a banana taste but it is rather bland. Out of the 4 summer teas I have, this one is my least favorite.

This tea was given to me, not one I purchased. It is OLD. Possibly as a result, it is also nearly flavourless, although there’s a smoothness to it that’s kind of nice. I should probably throw this out, but maybe I’ll try using the last bit up in a very strong mug.

Nice – but I think the banana needs to come out more.

Back log from this summer: One of the first iced teas I made. Was disappointed in it as I quite enjoyed the aroma of the tea and the idea of it was exciting. However, found it just to be too light. I steeped for a long time (again, me and my over-steeping!) but it didn’t seem to get better. In the end it tasted more like water with a tinge of banana.
