From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes: Rich black tea with a touch of creamy-sweet vanilla and a citrusy hint of bergamot.

Lovers of Earl Grey tea adore this creamy alternative to the original breakfast blend. You’ll recognize the same high-quality black tea, the same citrus burst of bergamot oil, the same beautiful grey-blue petals. However this version adds a touch of vanilla, and the result is an unexpectedly rich, creamy taste experience. Try it on its own or as a satisfying tea latte.

What makes it great:
• A vanilla twist on the classic Earl Grey.
• Amazing infused into desserts. Try adding a shot to your next custard.
• Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave

Ingredients
Organic black tea*, Natural (cream, vanilla) flavouring, Organic marigolds, Organic bergamot flavouring, Cornflower petals.

A good ‘shelf’ tea. In other words, while not outstanding, it is a good, reliable tea that won’t let you down. It’s a nice change from the traditional Earl Grey, with the creamy vanilla flavour giving enough of a change to notice, but not too much so as to turn a tea fan off.

Very similar to Teaopia’s “Creamed Earl Grey” this is a smoother, vanilla scented earl grey.

This has more citrus than vanilla and so I think it ends up a little better balanced, maybe, but in doing so it usually lacks the difference that the other has. Having tried them both I’m not averse to either one but I think this one looses out for trying to preserve more of the character of the original.

Always drinkable, even with my primitive equipment; I really like this at work.

Went a bit out of my comfort zone on this tea. I adore Earl Grey, but I dislike “creamy” teas and I have a tenuous relationship with vanilla.

I brewed it and the smell of it made me want to gag. I just couldn’t do it. I’m sure its lovely for some, but for me whoa, awful.

Went to davids tea for a mug…saw the cream of earl grey on the shelf and had to try it. very nice, almost nutty flavour to it – but not too deviated that I didn’t recognize the signature Earl Grey flavour! I liked it.
