Quite brisk- astringent. Soft, brief sweetness. Dairy barn-esque tones. Flat straw note.

I tried this tea quite recently with soy milk and a bit of agave. I found it to be very similar to Cream of Earl Grey without the added vanilla notes. The taste of this tea is also much lighter than Cream of Earl Grey. I definitely recommend this one and look forward to trying this one again!

I didn’t like the earthy-ness of this tea. Has a hint of a soil taste.

Again, I was in the mood for a plain, straight black tea this morning. I hadn’t tried this one before, so problem solved. I added a bit of milk to this cup (as I generally do with straight teas), and it was just like I expected/needed. Nothing fancy, but comforting and delicious.

this has to be one of my favourite teas for waking up on early foggy mornings. it has the perfect plain black tea taste that allows for whatever kind of sweetener i decide and it is also perfect for just drinking it black depending on how i feel. i personally like teas to be stronger so i steep mine for a while.

David’s Organic Breakfast is a blend of black teas from Yunnan, Ceylon and Darjeeling. It is such an amazing blend, it will put you in a good mood in the morning and put a smile on your face. That’s what mornings are supposed to be like right?

This tea will become astringent and bitter if you let it steep too long, so make sure you’re alert enough in the morning to brew this perfect breakfast blend properly and rightfully to the perfection that it is.

Nothing special here, I would take Twinnings breakfast tea over this guy. It’s not a bad black tea but there is nothing so delicious about it as to make you want to come back for more.

I’m not keen on black tea but this is perfectly drinkable with a ton of agave and quite a bit of almond milk, ha.

Tea #8. It tasted exactly how I expected. Which for a breakfast black tea in the morning, it was just what I needed.

I found this tea in my advent calendar this morning, and was excited because I’m a big fan of breakfast tea blends, and I’ve never tried David’s. However, this one didn’t make an impression. Not that I didn’t enjoy it, just that I was expecting more. The flavour is nice, and I had it with milk which makes it smooth and almost creamy. The aroma is almost smoky, which I wasn’t expecting. Overall, this tea just didn’t “wow” me.
