Davidson’s rooibos matcha is south African rooibos grounded into a fine red powder with highly concentrated anti-oxidants and yielding a non-bitter taste. Naturally caffeine-free, rooibos matcha is a rich, aromatic and flavorful herbal tea, allowing you to consume the whole leaf (grounded into a powder), and hence absorb almost 10 times more anti-oxidants and vitamins than the regular method of drinking rooibos, where the leaves are removed after brewing.

Pros
-cheap because it is in bulk
-ground rooibos is difficult to find
Cons
-more gritty than Starbucks or Red Leaf/Matcha Outlet rooibos matcha
-doesn’t really dissolve very well
-larger bits tend to accumulate at the bottom of the cup
So for the price, this can’t be beat. However it is definitely not as fine or powdery as any other rooibos matcha I have come across. Even mixed into milk you can feel all of the gritty texture.

A matcha that does not dissolve well kinda defeats its purpose! :)
I appreciate the boldness of trying a new tea by ordering a pound of it, though. I need to try rooibos matcha but I am too chicken to order a pound of it.
I’ve tried many different rooibos matchas before that were fine. This was just a more economical way and I thought I’d try this brand now that matcha outlet doesn’t sell ground rooibos.
