From Darlene's Teaport

Herb and fruit tea; in some circles is considered a new type of tea. We formulated this blend to accommodate tastes of people who wanted to experience a refreshing healthy new style drink without caffeine. What we got was a terrific ‘tea’ that is unbelievably delicious and enjoyed hot or Cold! This tea has a very exotic flavor profile. The delicious blend of peach and fruit flavors combined with the natural flavors and tartness of the various dried fruits create a summertime cooler or a winter time summer reminder.

During May the Niagara Peninsula in Canada is ablaze with color from the blossoms of the soft fruit trees. A large percentage of the trees are peach trees and by end July these delicate blossoms manifest themselves into large, soft, juice running down your chin yellow peaches. This fruit and herb tea has a flavoring that is reminiscent of these peaches – perhaps a little more full bodied and fruity but still has the wonderful tones of Niagara Peninsula peaches.

For a summer time drink Paradiso Peach iced is hard to beat. It is refreshing and thirst quenching and not overly sweet. For formal times garnish the glass with a slice of peach and a sprig of mint – for non formal times pour it into your glass and enjoy it gulp after gulp! If you have small children use the Paradiso Peach tea to make popsicles – they taste great and contain very little sugar.

I suppose there really is NO tea in here but.. wow. This stuff was great. The 4 oz bag I got was gone in under a week. I really couldn’t get enough of it. The peach is refreshing and potent. The herbals complemented the peach very well. I don’t tend to add sugar to teas but tea really made this one “pop”. I wish Darlene’s tea port had better shipping practices. I really do not like their packaging and will not be reordering from them.

Wow! This is wonderful. Awesome scent dry. Very lovely, fruity appearance. i see some rose/hibiscus in there. Beautiful dark, dark pink liquor; almost red but no yellow or orange. Nice peach aroma and taste. Needed a bit of sweeter to fight the evil hibiscus. It has a nice full mouth feel. I might have over-leafed it a bit but that doesn’t seem to matter. I wish I had enough to do a cold brew pitcher.

I got about 1/4 lb of it on ebay for around $2.

Wow! That’s a really good price. I’ll check it out. Thanks!

With those teas, it’s $3.75 shipping for the first and $1 for each additional within a week, so I used to watch a bunch of her auctions (theteaport) and buy a bunch at once.
