DRY TEA: Wiry leaves with abundance of tips gives this tea a fresh, healthy appearance, besides being beautiful. The tea has a good bloom. The color is largely greyish with strokes of pale spring-green.
INFUSION: The leaves turn pale green with streaks of brown. The nose is a fragrant fruity sweetness echoing a mix of mango, peach and berries.
CUP: The liqor is pale yellow typical of first flush teas. It has a smooth, sweet taste with very little astringency, and a great aftertaste that lingers long.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Not more than 3 mins, but if you like some astringency you can go up to 4 minutes.
OCCASION: A late morning tea, when you need a gentle lift. It can also make for a contemplative cup, where you can reflect on the wonderful and complex flavor, with a lingering smile.
