An earthy green tea blend that brings to mind a sunlit forest grove. Toasty and warm, with a hint of wildflowers and ripe autumn apples. A touch of citrus brightens the blend like a ray of midday sunshine.

That is absolutely amazing. I think it must be the hojicha? I’ve never had it, and I’m new to tea and all the flavors they offer. But this had a really woodsy, nutty, toasted flavor. But also a touch of green fresh grassy-ness. I didn’t necessarily taste any citrus, but I think it may just have lightened up what could have been an overly nutty blend.
Thus, seaweed! I really really crave sushi now.

This one is actually pretty great when cooled down. The flavors are very roasty and like the other review, does remind me of seaweed a bit! The fruity notes are very soft, but still there. I am surprised I enjoyed this one so much. I think it just fills a gap in my tea collection that nothing else could. I think I need to try more hojicha and kukicha.
