From Adagio Custom Blends

This is a minty chocolate blend with hints of candy cane. Perfect for the cold season or after a meal.

Inspired by my kitty Sebastian, who is a black cat with an undercoat of chocolate tabby stripes. He is sweet like chocolate, and a bit sharp like mint in his kittenish destructiveness.

ingredients:
peppermint, chocolate chip, candy cane

accent:
chocolate chips

Additional notes: It’s around Christmas and I have a headache.. I need a mint tea, so time for Christmas mint! Not that this tea needs improvement, but this description promises candy cane and I don’t see many pieces, if any. So I had the awesome idea of adding a candy cane right in the mug after steeping! It is amazing!! One second I look in the cup and the candy cane is all spindly. The next second the candy cane is GONE! I felt like I was in an M. Night Shamalan (spelling?) movie. Hopefully they aren’t THAT bad yet ‘The Case of the Disappearing Candy Cane’. It’s so sugary, creamy, minty though.. perfect with this tea blend!! The only improvement would have been using a candy cane that wasn’t so old. :D

My own tea so not rating. Still have quite a bit of it so I made some for my first day back at work.

Unfortunately I got so occupied by emails it’s cold by the time I got around to drinking it, but that’s okay, it’s still good.

Like Tea Sipper said, there aren’t many candy cane parts that I can see, unless they dissolved with age or something. This tea, like most of my original teas, is almost a year old. It hasn’t seemed to have lost it’s tastiness though, it’s just a bit milder than it was.

tea-sipper

Adding half a candy cane makes it AWESOME.

Starfevre

The only candy cane I’ve been around recently has been sriracha flavoured and I don’t think that would have been awesome..

It smells nicely like peppermint. I’m not a big fan of Adagio’s chocolate teas, but they go good with mint ones. I like the flavour of the candy cane tea, and it goes well with the other mint. I only tasted a little chocolate.
