Tasted and compared with other Assam teas by Phil Bayley at Char, this is our gold medal winner. Mangalam tastes deliciously malty, and is a rich and spicy tea with a bright cup and a strong liquor. It’s a must for lovers of Assam.
The tea has been carefully developed and processed. Mangalam has selected Assamica hybrids which they developed and then planted unusually close together, producing large leaves and many golden tips.
