Wow, here’s another tea I bought a while ago but I evidently forgot to log. I had been thinking this was a green tea blend and I forgot there was black tea in it as well.

The cup brews up to be a medium brown/orange in color. The flavor is really nice in this blend and subtle. There’s jackfruit and orange, but the orange does not overwhelm me like some other blends I’ve tried lately (here’s looking at you, Kusmi). The almond adds kind of a mellow note to this blend. I’m able to sip on it plain which is great, no bitterness or astringency. I’m getting slightly more black than green tea flavor.

This morning I’m drinking it hot but I think this would be really good as an iced tea also, I’ll have to try that soon. Overall this is a really nice blend and I’ve been really pleased with all of the items I bought from Capital Teas in the past. They really do some wonderful blends.

A nice tea blend. I didn’t taste any fruit but I also drank this without sugar. A nice, mellow black and green tea.

This is not bad iced, but I think I like it better hot.

This is a nice tea. I thought it was only a green tea so I’d meant to steep it for no more than 2 minutes, but I accidentally forgot about it and let it steep for 5 minutes. It wasn’t bitter at all, but the fruit flavor was VERY strong. (Perhaps a little too strong.) I resteeped the leaves for about 3 minutes and the resulting tea was quite nice. After reading that almonds were in this tea, I thought I could detect their flavor.

(Sample from silentrequiem. Thanks!)

Not bad. Didn’t really get a big variety of flavors, but I only had a tiny free sample. Pleasant enough though, I’m sure.

I have a couple of green/black tea blends, and they have a similar flavor underneath the main flavor, but I don’t know what it is…a cherry sort of flavor?

Nice tea to wake up with…can taste the orange and almond. Very warming, and I can imagine watching the sunrise on the water with this tea in hand (hey, I USED to live near water…just now in the desert!)

This is such a likeable, easygoing tea. What do you like? Green? Black? Fruit? Nut? It’s all available here, and it’s delicious hot, iced, sweetened, or unsweetened. Makes a great dessert.
