From Canton Tea Co

This Organic Darjeeling is from a highly-regarded estate. The liquor is a characteristic bright gold and the taste is light, fruity and smooth with just enough briskness to embody a well-rounded cup.

Our new Canton Tea Pyramids are ideal to take away travelling, for visiting friends or to keep at work. They are biodegradable (made from corn starch) and big enough to allow the leaves to fully expand and release their full flavour.

Quick Brewing Instructions One Pyramid per cup in 95°C water, infuse 2-3 mins

Thank you Canton Tea Co for this sample. A couple of months ago I received an empty box from the Tea Club and as an apology they sent me a few samples along with the original club order. Was very nice of them to do so. :)

Watching Eurovision tonight and thought we had might as well treat ourselves to a tea mad marathon night.

The pyramids are completely see through so I can note bright green, sharp and dry Darjeeling leaves that have a gentle floral perfume scent.

Once steeped the tea is orange/brown in colour and has a sweet malt and flower aroma.

The flavour is gentle overall so it has a clean and refreshing taste. It’s a little sweet and floral with malted and soft fruity tones. The perfume dryness is minimal which helps to keep the sweet and floral tones clean and light in the after taste.

A very nice cup of Darjeeling and great for a posh everyday tea.

Also a quick note – I had a large stock take to help clean my tea cupboards and I have a huge box of teas to swap out. Check the INTL swap thread for my huuuge list :)
