From Camellia Sinensis

One of our oldest and most precious sheng Pu Er. Smooth, well-balanced, and deeply flavoured, the small leaves have a warm aroma of tobacco and toasted grains. The liquor’s cream and ricotta notes match well with the woody (old waxed wood) and slightly vegetal (Swiss chard) ones. The sweet and delicate mineral finish leaves a flavour of sun-beaten earth. A true gem.

A healing cup (the last of our supply) really settles the mind and body after a rather sweet breakfast this morning. The amber liquor was never overly dark, and had a comforting sweetness with a very light touch of citrus. Not overly dry, and with a gentle touch on the front of the tongue.
