From Butiki Teas

What better way to wind down the day than with chocolate and mint? Our Peppermint Patty pairs organic marshmallow leaf, a naturally sweet caffeine-free herb, with sweet organic peppermint, and mellow milk chocolate. This light and refreshing herbal works well as an after dinner treat. With each sip, the flavor grows stronger and lingers longer. Add a little sugar to intensify the chocolate flavor. Please research all precautions before consuming any herbal tisane.

Last cup of the evening yesterday. I enjoy this one quite a lot — it’s just so chocolatey (unsurprising, given how many chocolate chips are actually in the dry mix!), and beautifully minty. I chose it partly because yesterday was such a humid evening, and although I wanted a hot drink pre-bedtime, the cooling effect of the mint in this one was also very refreshing. I’m in two minds about the marshmallow leaf — it adds a background note that I’m not hugely keen on, although it’s such a minor thing that I’m not really going to call it a problem. I can drink this one happily, and that’s what matters! Saying that, I’m pretty sure my favourite chocolate mint tea is always going to be a black. This is a wonderful caffiene free option, though, and another fabulous Butiki! Yum, basically.

I am reading The Fault in Our Stars now and loving it. Yay for an Augustus Waters shirt :)

I loved that book. Loved it. (And I’m loving the mug. Very cool.)

Oh gosh. I read it when it first came out, and then a year later, attempted to reread it. I haven’t been able to finish my second reading of that book because it was just SO hard to read through my tears!
I’m totally bringing a box of tissues when I watch the movie next week. Oh gosh, that movie is going to be brutal

Cheri

That’s why I’ve decided I don’t want to see the movie in the theater. I’ll probably watch it on NetFlix or something later, but I just can’t….I prefer my sad stories in private. (Although you know the theater will be full of sobbing people.)

Dude. I was already bawling when I saw the first trailer. And all the little scenes that they’ve released since then, I cry every time.
I told my roommate that I want to go to the theater alone because I didn’t want her seeing me cry, but I figured, heck, we’ve already seen so many season finales with each other, now we just need TFiOS to top it all off!! She’s probably the only person I’d wanna watch this movie with cuz I know she and I will be bawling three minutes into the movie ahha

Ah! The fault in our stars! I LOVE that book! I’ll be out of town the weekend it comes out, so my ugly crying in public experience will have to be postponed by a week.

I usually don’t think of myself as the biggest fan of mint teas, but this one is very good. I don’t know if this is very true to taste (at least compared to the peppermint patties I’ve had), but I mean that in the best way possible. This one is more of a smooth, creamy mint and a subtle chocolate. It reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, or even more like those Andes chocolate mints.
