Darjeeling tea is by far my favorite and also very expensive costing between $100-$250 a pound. I bought a pound of tea for $40! Also 40,000 metric tons of Darjeeling tea is sold every year but Darjeeling only produces 10,000 metric tons. So always look for the official seal of authenticity which this tea has.
This tea taste amazing and I challenge anyone to have anything bad to say about its quality. It has the gentle first flush color and flavor. It last around 3 uses and is delightful as long as you treat it as a Oolong tea. Darjeeling tea is not quite a black tea and you can see some hints of green in some non-fermented leaves.
It taste like a great cup of Darjeeling tea and has that flora sweet taste if brewed correctly. Use less then 1 tea spoon per 8 oz and brew it at a less then boiling like Oolong and it will be just amazing. Use boiling water and a normal amount of tea and it will be bitter.
