Description: Contrary to what one may think due to its brew color, Rooibos is actually an herbal tea hailing from South Africa. Other names for it include Red tea and Bush tea. Like most teas, it goes through a fermentation process. Rooibos is finely chopped, bruised, left to ferment in heaps and dried in the African sun where it changes from a vivid green to a unique burnt red hue.
