I am having just the absolute worst time focusing enough tonight to write through tasting notes, which is a real shame because that was basically the whole goal of tonight…

This was from the weekend – I meant to try this much sooner after ordering it but that just never ended up happening. Oops. I liked it though; it has the same sort of cacao and rose profile that I really like in Bird & Blend’s Enchanted Narnia blend but without the lemongrass profile that I personally find so unpleasant. The other key difference is that this is a spiced blend as well; I definitely felt a bit of heat in the back of my throat and I got some of the more earthy notes of the ashwagandha as well. I actually thought the suited the profile really well.

Hmm, I still have it in virtual cupboard, so probably it is somewehere in real one too. But where? I don’t recall seeing it recently. And apparently I have only one tasting note? Weird. But apparently you liked it unlike me :)

Thermos time!
Prepared it in thermos, as I was leaving quite early today and wanted a cup.
Dry leaf aroma is quite nice, vanilla, cocoa, just nice.

When it comes to taste, it´s not so good. It reminds me a cookie dough (not bad itself), but something was sour there. That makes whole blend much worse. Too bad! If there wasn´t that sour aftertaste, it would be really nice.

As in thermos, hard to describe a color – it looked golden when pouring.
