I’ve been craving black tea at night lately, for some weird reason…

I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine, so I needed a decaf option. This bagged EG is pretty inoffensive. It has that depressingly flat taste that decaffeinated tea leaves take on, but the bergamot makes it tolerable.

Nothing else to really say about it.

I came here to say that this smells like Froot Loops cereal! It is fairly decent for cheap earl grey & nice when you need something decaf. (I don’t know about you, but I don’t tend to keep many decafs around. I need to change that!)

Anyhow, it smells weird but tastes okay, so don’t be frightened by the smell.

This leaves me with the same feelings as the caffeinated version so I’ll post the same review:
Unsteeped, this tea smells a little off. Bergamot is there of course but it smells of chemicals somehow. Once steeped, the smell improves but the flavor is just average. It’s smooth in the mouth. I like it with a teaspoon of sugar.
