I believe this is a good herbal, and recommend it as a under the weather stash.

Thanks TeaEqualsBliss for this one! I really do love lemon so I was excited to see this in the group of tea bags she sent me :-). The lemon flavor was a little weak for me. But I added a little bit of honey and it was much better! Not something I would necessarily purchase but, in a pinch it would satisfy a lemon craving.

I have tried this tea both hot and cold and must say that I adore this lemony goodness. I love lemon is wonderful hot when you are looking for a bit of a boost in the morning or during the day. Then on days like today I love lemon is perfect iced when you want to relax and chill in the sun.

Overall this tea (either way ie hot or cold) is lusciously lemony with a good balance of sweet and sour lemon tones. The lemon does taste fresh and very natural and with all of the multi tones of lemon flavour from lemon peel, lemongrass, lemon verbana etc it creates wonderful depths in flavour.

My cold exploded and is now taking over my sinuses and it totally sucks. Yesterday I was the kind of sick that meant relaxing and taking it easy, and today is the kind of sick that means I couldn’t leave the bed even if I wanted to.

Unless, of course, to make tea.

Boyfriend snuck some of these tea bags home from work a while ago and they only sound good now, do I doubt I’ll ever truly know how they taste. BUT, with honey they are quite soothing at least, and even through my stuffed up nose I can sense the lemon.

I may have to have a box around just so I have something when I feel like this.

I made a cup of this hot last night, and then realized that I had just applied my lipstick and didn’t want to mess it up.

I looked at my sad little teapot, which was 1/3 full of cold-steeped Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe. I had not enjoyed that tea cold-steeped, and I didn’t want to waste it, but I didn’t particularly want to drink it, either.

My solution to all three of these issues? Upending the mug of freshly steeped lemon tea into the teapot with the cold orange pekoe. Now my lipstick was saved for a few more hours, and I had transformed my lackluster cold brew into something delicious for tomorrow morning.

And, as I was fifteen minutes late to class this morning, I didn’t exactly have time to wait for water to boil, anyway. I dumped some of the mixture into my travel mug and booked it to class.

So how did this long, adventuresome tale from teaqueen’s random crazy life resolve itself? With a delicious, cold, lemon-flavored iced tea, of course. I’m gonna brew my lemon iced teas from now on. The store-bought stuff in the bottle is a joke compared to this! I got hints of an almost minty-note, and there was not a trace of sweeteners, which allowed the tartness of the lemon to mingle and balance with the unique flavor of black tea the way God intended it to.

I swear, the best ideas in life are the ones that come to you as a result of your mistakes.

Her is a cup the greets me every morning of a sore throat at work. I grab a cup of this and open the bag as my nostrils are lifted with lemon. I drink this warm (not hot for the my already hurts, LOL). Honestly I am not a fan of lemon, but enjoyed this cup a lot. To me it held a little sweet taste to it too.

I like hot citrusy teas. This is one of them – although I lean more towards all straight forward teas without a lot of additives (this has a long ingredients list).

Bigelow Tea

milkweedmax, so happy to hear you enjoyed our I Love Lemon Herb Tea. You’re right there is a long list of ingredients that go into this lemony blend, but it’s this list of natural ingredients that make this flavor just right. We’re glad you agree!

I was afraid it would be too much lemon – and there was a lot – but it still worked. I think I like it!

I have received this US tea from postcrossing and today evening seems to be a great time for that. A bit of sore throat appeared, so extra dose of ascorbic acid won’t hurt and it’s caffeine free, so, yep, evening is great timing.

When I have sniffed the tea bag, I noticed strong lemon aroma, so sour it tickled my nost and spearmint. I wonder if it is that peppermint which is in (is it hat strong?) or lemon verbena (but that’s a different aroma than mint).

When sipped, I thought I bit a lemon peel. Not that strong lemony note and lemongrass dominates here to me. Also, it is a bit medicinal for me, definitely in the aftertaste and powdery like.

Definitely expected more zingy lemon from this tea, almost sour like, but my throat is much better and that’s at least something positive, while the flavours fall a bit off to me.
