From Bentley's

This blend of fine green teas and the sweet-tart flavor of rich red raspberries is a traditional favorite at any time of any time of the day and any season of the year.

Brewing instruction:
For a perfect cup of tea and to fully appreciate Bentley’s Premium Estate Tea, bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Use one tea bag per cup and steep to desired strength (suggested time 2 to 3 minutes). If preferred, add milk or lemon, sweeten with sugar or honey. Relax and enjoy!

A nice, crisp green tea with a sweet raspberry taste – tart in the finish. (But not too tart!)

A bag of this was thrown into the sampler box TeaEqualsBliss sent me. Decided to have this to fill my fruity green tea craving. I can definitely taste the raspberry in this. Not a whole lot to this green tea base, but it’s pretty decent. I like the raspberry in this. Should have mixed this with the watermelon raspberry green for an extra raspberry boost!

I wanted something similar to begin my morning after having read a review for the Mystic Dragon Tea (Tea Reviews.com); as this tea is combined with wild strawberry and rhubarb and Sencha Japanese tea to create a very fine fragrant and luxurious tea. I looked around my cupboard for something immediately similar and decided to use the last of the Bentley stash that I had obtained from my mother-in-law over this past holiday season. As well, since the last time I reviewed tea on Steepster.com, the tea reviewed was a Christmas blend somewhat similar to some of the fruit note. I mean it conjures something floral and vibrant.

Tea’s aroma when brewed is the flavored raspberry fruity note, with that dark amber in the tea’s coloring. It conjures a floral note of fruit-like flavors and very pleasing to the nose and surrounding air as it is brewing.

This is a lovely tea to sample if one has been drinking only green teas for the longest of times, as I tend to do.

The Mystic Dragon Tea can be obtained for $4.89 lb at www.spiceandtea.com. I plan to order some of this tea also.

This is from that octagonal (?) sampler pack I got myself at Christmas time. I don’t like raspberry anything. Unless it’s golden raspberries, but that’s a whole different beast. Anyway, this tea tastes like someone melted a raspberry candy into weak green tea. I can’t even taste the green tea part, it doesn’t even smell like green tea. I don’t know what the color is because I threw the bag into a black cup. I know, blasphemy. So, it’s not good. I am already steeping with bias.
BUT I put a dropper full of my Dr. Brandt’s Antioxidant dietary supplement in pomegranate flavor and it then tasted like a good pomegranate tea! So then I like it! :-)
