I’ve known Master Cai for a lot of years now and we’re happy to offer you one of his custom blend cakes made in the Spring of 2020. He blended it in Yunnan but has aged it in the Summery humid heat of Central Taiwan for the last three years now. It’s already getting a nice amber color.
I like this tea because it’s very well balanced and that’s the first thing you notice I think. You’ll get a nice soupy pour from the first steep :) with just a touch of honey. The bitterness is approachable for a young sheng but I’m still brewing this with shorter steeps (10-15sec). That’ll give it just a hint of bitter at the end.
