  • “This is the matcha I use for matcha lattes and matcha palmers at home. I also usually carry a travel tin of this to add extra matcha to my lattes from Starbucks as I feel the syrups can be a bit much.” Read full tasting note

From Art of Tea

Fresh leaves from a Grade A Gyokuro green tea are stone ground into a fine powder. In the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, Matcha, literally “powdered tea,” is elegantly delivered by bamboo spoon into a bowl of hot water, then whipped with a bamboo whisk into a frothy, rich brew sipped right from the bowl. Renowned for its health benefits and versatile attributes in fine dining.

Water Temperature: 180 F degrees
Caffeine Content: Medium
Steep Time: 1 teaspoon per 3oz of water best enjoyed when frothed and fully whisked.
Ingredients: Stone Ground Tencha Green Tea
Origin: Uji Gardens, Japan
