Another one I tried from the SVTTB, I am transferring my notes over a little at a time. This blend was something I don’t remember ever having, though it looked pretty familiar. When I steeped it I wasn’t expecting much because I haven’t loved many of Adagio’s chocolate teas in the past but this was really good I liked the creme element too. I preferred it as a latte but it was really good plain too. I don’t recommend this one iced.

Tea swap sample from vallhallow! I added some oat milk and it brought out the chocolate and cream very nicely! This seems like a good “first thing in the morning” tea for me. I think I may actually have some of this stashed somewhere that I haven’t broken into yet, so thanks for the inspiration to go find it!

Got this during St Pattys day with a purchase. I added a full fat oatmilk to it immediately since it had a cream flavoring added to it. It was good! The maltiness and the chocolate notes were strong enough to stay present through the oatmilk. I don’t have a like for like comparison, but it was desserty and comforting. I didn’t add any more sweetness to it other than what sugars are in full fat oatly. It was a balanced tea and nice chocolate flavors.

“An Ode to Tea” Alphabet Challenge – I

Another swap tea. Not one I would generally choose for myself, as it’s both an Adagio tea AND a chocolate tea, ha ha…

It’s fine. The Assam-Ceylon base is actually fairly tasty – malty and flavorful but only slightly astringent. The chocolate is very boozy and artificial, it reminds me of these carob-flavored chewable vitamins I used to have as a child.

Overall, it is rather stout-esque, as both the tea and the chocolate are dark, deep flavors. Not something I would ever order, but not bad!

ETA: It just occurred to me, this tastes just like Tootsie Rolls!
