This is not what I was hoping for. The strawberry is super light and watery and not at all juicy. The basil adds a very savory flavor that distracts when hot. There is the slightest bit of a hibiscus like tang (the rose hips?) that I’m not into that comes out as it cools. Into the get rid of pile it goes!
Cold Brew Sipdown (1177)!
This was such a refreshing cold brew, but at the same time just a touch light on the flavour. The result ended up being a crisp and refreshing white tea with hints of fresh cut strawberry and savory basil. It tasted more like a fancier fruit infused water than a tea, but regardless that still makes for a tasty drink, so… No real loss?
Basically chugged the whole thing though – I was pretty dehydrated.
This flavor combination just sounds strange and unappealing.
